About Us

Who are we?

We are a family owner/operator of approximately 135 mobile homes located in Gastonia (James Street Properties, LLC), Kings Mountain (Oak Grove MHP), Shelby (Blacksburg MHP), and Cherryville (Charleston Trail Estates), North Carolina.  We view mobile homes as one of the last affordable housing options in America and we are glad to provide quality housing at an affordable price.

What is behind the name Tallulah Properties?

Besides real estate, a love of ours was our dear yellow lab Tallulah.  We loved her unique name and thought it would be special to name the company after her.


Sadly, Tallulah passed away on 8/10/22.  The company being named after her is a constant reminder of all the good memories created with her.

Giving Back

School Supplies

For 3 years now we purchased school supplies for the kids living in a couple of our communities.  We have been able to help over 45 of our kids get the school year started off on the right foot.
